Falcy’s 4th England Cap

Falcy receives 4th England Cap at prestigious St George’s Park

MFX-sponsored Isle of Man walking football star, Steve “Falcy” Falconer, receiving his 4th full England cap from the Association’s Chairman, Tony Norton.

The shot was taken at St George’s Park, the English Football Association’s national football centre at Burton upon Trent in Staffordshire.

The prestigious centre, built on a 330-acre site, is the base for all coaching and development undertaken by the FA and acts as the training and preparation facility for England’s various national football teams, including walking football.

“It was an honour to visit St George’s Park, let alone to train there with the England walking football team. The facilities were amazing, including the Sir Bobby Charlton pitch which is based on Wembley,” said Falcy, whose 4th England cap came during a recent eight team national tournament held at Redditch, Worcestershire where the England walking football is headquartered.

Falcy, a proud Manxman who lives on the Island, is now firmly established as an England regular, which means frequent trips to the UK, to play matches and attend training sessions. To cover his travelling costs, MFX are proud to be sponsoring his endeavours over the next three seasons.
